General Terms and Conditions (GTC) – Franzlhof

1. Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions apply to the rental of holiday accommodations at Franzlhof, as well as all related services provided to our guests.

2. Booking & Contract Conclusion
A booking becomes binding once it has been confirmed by us in writing (via email, website, or booking platform). By placing a booking, the guest accepts these terms and conditions.

3. Payment Terms
Payment must be made prior to arrival, either via bank transfer to the specified account or in cash upon check-in. A deposit may be requested at the time of booking.

4. Security Deposit
A security deposit of €â€¯200 per unit is required in advance. It will be refunded in full after the accommodation has been returned in proper condition.

5. Check-In / Check-Out

Alternative times are possible upon request.
6. Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation up to 30 days before arrival

29–14 days before arrival: 50 % of the total amount

13 days or less before arrival or no-show: 100 % of the total amount
We strongly recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.
7. Pets
Pets are warmly welcome. A fee of €â€¯15 per pet per night applies. Pets may stay in the chalet or in a secure, fenced outdoor dog area (please inform us at the time of booking).

8. Use of Facilities
The heated, covered pool and communal areas (e.g., barbecue area, lawn) are available to all guests. Use is at your own risk. Parents are responsible for their children at all times.

9. Liability & Damages
The guest is liable for any damage caused by themselves, their fellow travelers, or any accompanying pets to the accommodation, furnishings, or other property on site.
Such damages must be fully compensated by the guest. In these cases, we reserve the right to withhold the security deposit partially or in full. Please inform us immediately of any damage so that we can find a solution together.

10. Non-Smoking Policy
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all buildings. Smoking is permitted on the terrace; ashtrays are provided.

11. Jurisdiction & Applicable Law
Austrian law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the competent court located at the accommodation’s address.

12. Other Provisions
Booking changes are possible depending on availability. If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
